These are part of our Church UUFIT Program adopted in 2015 [and  continuing within our 2023 >> .. Mission plan]:

This congregation of this Uniting Church at Sawtell has always believed we are a part of the local community and they are a part of us. We use the name UUFIT to cover all of the ongoing programs we see as doing our part to build up our community. We freely subsidise each program to keep the cost at a minimum for participants. UUFIT stands for Uniting U (you with) Friendship, I (Inspiration), T (Training) - We run a number of programs under this banner:

Strength and Stability (SAS):
$6 per session (prepaid cards for 5 or 10 sessions can be bought to make it easier each time)
This goes directly to Hoys for our trainers, and towards ancillary costs
Mon (2) 7.30am - 8.30am, 8.30am-9.30am and Tues-Friday 8.30-9.30am each week.

Community Afternoon tea:

Walking (Sawtell Strollers):
Free.  Wednesday afternoons 4pm for 50 mins.

Note: Ancillary costs include: Upkeep and maintenance of the venue including cleaning, electricity/water, water cooler facilities, paper towels, wear and tear, tables etc etc. We have no external program funding and congregation members run all of these programs solely for the benefit of the community.

Anyone who would like to have a more detailed explanation of the provision of these programs please come have a chat to Maureen Darby (UUFIT Programs Facilitator) or via our contact page.

There are also activities held every month within the congregation; and from time to time we may hold special activities, like bible studies, prayer times, BBQs, and even community fun events, etc. - so check the latest 'What's On' or event in the 'This Month' menu.

A Covid/Flu Safe Plan is still in place - Safe Church link

NOTE: The old Kreekers, and Table Tennis activities are NOT currently operating.
