MAHJONG

Our keen Mahjong players meet at the Church building on Mondays, plus Wednesdays, from 1pm to about 4pm. This has proven a very popular pastime for many. $2 Gold coin donation for incidentals and venue costs. Not run on public holidays usually. Recess expected around Christmas.

Who can come? These are part of our Church UUFIT Program adopted in 2015 [and continuing within our 2023 >> ongoing .. SUC Mission plan]: "We aim to unite ourselves and others in our community through friendship, fitness, fun, interests, information, insight - for physical, spiritual, and mental health". This congregation of the Uniting Church at Sawtell has always believed we are a part of the local community and they are a part of us. We use the name UUFIT to cover all of the ongoing programs we see as doing our part to build up our community. We freely subsidise each program to keep the cost to you at a minimum for participants. UUFIT stands for Uniting U (you with) Friendship, I (Inspiration), T (Training) - We run a number of programs under this banner.
